Canadian Reptile Encounters came to the Town of Grande Cache for our annual Canada Day Festivities. They did one show on the evening of June 30, 2009, and 2 more on July 1, 2009 along with their petting/viewing zoo. It was a very popular event seeing as something of that kind has never been in our town. Jason was very knowledgeable in presenting the facts about all the different reptiles. He was friendly toward all town’s people, and allowed everyone a chance to view the animals and gave plenty of chances for everyone to hold the animals and take a picture with them if they would like. They had a lot of energy which grasped everyone’s attention during their shows. They had approximately fifteen hundred people throughout the day pass through their “viewing/petting zoo” area. Jason and his team provided the live animals component to the 2010 Darwin exhibition, hosted in Calgary by TELUS World of Science. Jason and his team were a joy to work with, and helped us provide a fantastic and interactive experience for our visitors. Finnegan the Green Iguana was the highlight of the exhibition, and the additional workshops Jason provided for our Open Minds school program, special events, and public programs have been enjoyed by many of our visitors with feedback always being extremely positive. Jason and the entire Canadian Reptile Encounters team have a wonderful approach to engaging people of all ages with unique and interesting reptiles, inverts and amphibians – they make what some people find scary a fun, interactive learning experience and have been a great fit with our organization!

We had Jason Clevett of Canadian Reptile Encounters be a part of our Trade Show in April 2012. Our funding for the show didn't come through until the last minute and Jason was awesome to work with. We had the Canadian Reptile Encounters exhibit at the Luxton Fall Fair this year (2013) and it was very nice. Everyone who went through the exhibit really enjoyed the display. The animals all appeared to be very well taken care of and clean all the time. The exhibit has numerous information boards about the characteristic of all the animals and their natural habitat. I would highly recommend the various Fairs and Exhibitions consider including this display at their Fair. We are certainly hoping that Jason is able to bring the display to the Luxton Fall Fair again next year.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for showing my community how cool reptiles can be. Not only were we able to interact directly by holding the snakes, bearded dragons and tortoises we got to witness the rare moulting of the tarantula. AMAZING! You were the talk of the town. I don't think we had a down moment of viewers the whole time we were open. Not only did reptile encounters offer merchandise and photo ops with the reptile of your choice - very cool! - they were overflowing with advice and information from where the reptiles came from, how old they were to how to care for them. I would definatley recommend Jason and his crew for any occassion. Well done guys!
